Assistance Sought For Woman & 2 Grandchildren

Whiles doing his consultations with members of his Constituency, on the draft Bill before parliament for considerations, Hon Foday   NM Drammeh of Tumana  said he came across a woman and her two grandchildren living is a  building that is at its final stages of collapsing.

“This has really touched my heart, when I was going around my constituency to meet with the people to asked them about the draft constitution and other matters of the state….then  I meet this old woman living with two of her grandchildren in this type of  building” Drammeh

Describing the building, he Drammeh said,  the entire one side of the building has collapsed, and the remaining parts of the building has been undermine. They really have to continue to live in the building as  they have no other choice or alternative.

The food that she have in her store, was badly affected by the heavy down pour of rains, and she was nearly crying for food and a place to sleep with the two grandchildren.

“Please! I really need your support, to assist this old widow since she has no other hope but Allah and the good people” Hon appeal for support

The support can be in cash or in kind.

2.      Bakary Jammeh D5000.00

3.      Pa Modou Jallow D1000.00

4.      Ousman Darboe D1000.00, making a total of D27,000.00 so far.
