Kandeh Rejects Election Results and Warn Senegal to Stay Away from Our Politics

By Ousainou J Sawaneh (PrinCE OjeE)

Hon Kandeh in a press conference held on Monday said his party’s position on the just concluded presidential election is very clear. “We reject in its totality and as a party they will not accept it”. However he informs the media that they will not do anything that will bring violence in this country. Kandeh said violence is what they are waiting to come from us. The politician said that they will not give them that chance” he said

In the meantime we will gather any information that we know and we will display it all over the social media for the Gambians to see so that everyone will know that’s exactly what has happened in the election.

“I am not going to call President Barrow to congratulate him and I have made it very clear, because if I do that, then I will contradict myself. And I know the election was not free, fair and transparent”
The GDC Leader added that he cannot congratulate Barrow on something he believes is not free, fair and transparent.

Kandeh blame the Barrow Government of wanting to mortgage our country and that is all the reason for bringing more soldiers in this country who are not taking commands from our own soldiers. Bringing more foreign soldiers in the country as if we are in a war situation will not be condoned.

The GDC strong man warns that they will not allow themselves to be used by anyone to destabilize this country and that will give the foreign forces the chance to continue staying in the country.

“We want to maintain the peace and tranquility in this country, as that is what we are known for and we as a party will do everything possible to maintain the peace and tranquility that the Gambia is known for” he said

Kandeh in the same vein extends his call on to Ousainou Darboe to understand their position and to also help maintain the peace and stability that the country is known for.

GDC Leader further called on the ECOWAS to respect the Gambia as a sovereign state adding that the country cannot continue to be occupied by foreign forces.
