NAM Challenges President Barrow to back Claims With Facts

By Almamo Kamaso

Reacting to the claims that, President Adama Barrow advances on his political platforms, Hon Madi MK Ceesay said he really finds it baffling that Barrow claims that his development projects were opposed to by some members of the National Assembly.

These are unfounded allegations meted against honorable members and that Hon Ceesay challenged Barrow or whoever, that can proof that Barrow had ever presented a development project at the Assembly and members oppose it to come forward with concrete facts.

“President Barrow really just has nothing to tell Gambians and that he and his cohorts such as Lands, and Tourism minister (Drammeh and Bah) just bent on smear political utterances during their campaigns.

There has never being any development agenda put before law makers either by President Adama Barrow or his ministers that been objected by law makers, let them come out.

Ceesay said the National Assembly proceedings are all well recorded and bets  his life , the claims  are baseless and  unfounded, he said  not such a claim by Barrow or Hamat Bah is ever on the records” Ceesay said

The Serekunda West parliamentarian told the Daily News that President Barrow should stop peddling unfounded allegations and also stop giving misinformation as a way of just misleading the people.

The President and his ministers (Bah) are on record -telling audience in Niamina and of recent in Bakau that Barrow government had its development projects refused by some sections of the Assembly, that cant never be backed with facts , he claims.

Ceesay  called the appointment and the rescinding of an appointment of Joiner as Vice Chair IEC, unfortunate; as what it tells Gambians is that we have a president who do not know the instrument of governance.
