New Councillors sworn-in following Local Government By-Election

The newly elected Councillors of the Kanifing Municipal Council yesterday took Oath of Office, following the 2022 Local Government By-Election.

Newly elected Councillor Aji Saptieu Jaye of London Corner Ward and Councillor Abubakar Silla of Bundung 6-Junction Ward were worn-in during the Kanifing Municipal Council’s General Council meeting of 31st May 2022.

The Mayor and Councillors welcomed them with open arms and pledged their full support in getting them up to speed to bring development projects within their Wards.
