President Barrow choosing to serve a five year term as stated in the 1997 Constitution instead of the Coalition 2016 campaign promise, which states that if Barrow is elected, he will only serve a 3-year mandate and call for election.
“The police told us the order is from the top. I believe the top is no other person but Adama Barrow Suwaneh told the Daily news.
“They have seen that they are losing the case and they don’t want to wait to hear the final decision from the Judge”, he said.
The government wants to see us convicted by the court and because they don’t see that, they plan to withdraw the case and plan to re-arrest us and label evil allegations against us.
The arrest team, told us the order is from top and they never tell us who they are referring to as the top, he added.
According to source who told the Daily news that Barrow is worse than Ex-President Jammeh and he want to see us convinced and ended in prison.
All what we are yearning for, is to hold the president accountable to the promised he made to the Gambian in 2016.
